Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, the global war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. UPDATE 11/15 - We still need turkeys! Please bring Frozen Turkeys (16-20 lb) to the Post for Thanksgiving Dinner (free for members and their guests) and for Food Pantry Donations.

Thursday, 11/27 - Thanksgiving! If you are planning to attend the FREE VFW Post 7234 Thanksgiving Dinner - - no desserts are planned. Please assist by bringing a cooked, ready-to-eat dessert as your donation. If you are so inclined, the Post will also be accepting:

- Toys-4-Tots items

- Food (canned, dry goods, non-perishables) for the Helping Hands Food Pantry

- Cash donations for the Post Relief Fund

Our community has ongoing needs for all these items.

Saturday, December 13 - Army/Navy Football Game. Doors open at noon; Tailgate/Pregame with Nachos starting at 1 PM; Game starts at 3 PM with AYCE Buffet: Pulled Pork Sliders, Hot Dogs, Meatballs, Chili, Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Cake. Tickets available now at the Bar - $20 per person.
